Well, today was a holiday of sorts for me...Opening Day of the baseball season!!
Every year for the last several years, I've been taking this day off to go watch the game somewhere or just sit home and listen to it. It's become a nice little tradition that I really look forward to.
Today was a good day. I didn't go to work and decided to go to the Vermont Sports Grill to catch some of the game. I knew I wasn't going to stay there for the whole game, but it was nice to see some of it. I sat through a few innings and the Red Sox took a 4-0 lead. I came home in time to hear the Yankees cut the lead to 4-2, but the Sox held them off and wound up winning 8-2.
As far as traditions go, this was a good one!
